Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa have an exciting opportunity to complete an apprenticeship in a luxury hospitality environment. You will have the opportunity to earn a wage and develop real work experience whilst gaining a qualification.
The Maintenance Apprentice role:
As maintenance apprentice you will work along side the Head of Maintenance and other members of the maintenance team ensuring that the hotel bedrooms and buildings are in a well maintained and serviced condition and that all services and facilities are in working order. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience in a luxury hospitality environment on a 1,065 acre site whilst working towards your qualification.
Working Hours & Apprenticeship Details:
You will be completing an intermediate level apprenticeship and gain the qualification of 'Property Maintenance Operative'. The apprenticeship will be delivered on-the-job and will also require college attendance one day a week. The expected duration of the apprenticeship is 18 months. The working week will consist of 40 hours over 5 working days with 2 days off per week. The college attendance is included in the total working hours. A competitive apprenticeship salary will be paid to the successful candidate.
