Chefs – All Levels - Apprenticeships, Commis to Head Chef - Kirkby Lonsdale, Carnforth

We are now looking chefs of all levels to join our team, Please see below for salaries, job roles & responsibilities.

  • A variety of morning, daytime and evening shifts available.

All successful Chef applicants will need to be passionate about creating innovative and exciting food, whilst having the ability to keep cool under pressure, and an eagerness to learn new skills.

Ideally, we are looking for a chefs with a minimum of 2 years’ experience (we will however judge everyone on their own merits, talents & ability) to enhance our team. We are seeking motivated individuals incorporating the following tasks and responsibilities.

Head Chef Position

Salary £30,000 - £40,000 per year (dependant on knowledge & experience)

Your key responsibilities include;

  • Menu engineering.
  • Prepare, cook and present food with a high standard for both functions and for our restaurant service.
  • Complying with all Health & Safety Policies.
  • Ensuring cleaning jobs are carried out correctly.
  • The Experience & Qualifications required are:
  • Previous experience working as a Chef for at least 2 years.
  • Food hygiene and food preparation certificates essential.
  • Proven culinary skills.
  • A good track record of success.
  • Knowledge of Stock control, Costings, Ordering & Wastage.

  Other Skills Required:

  • Enthusiastic and highly motivated is a must. With a good eye for detail and accuracy.
  • This role is a great opportunity to develop a new business within a busy Lake District location.

All Chef positions Salary  £21,000 - £30,000 per year (dependant on level, knowledge & experience)
