Fitness & Wellbeing Instructor/Personal Trainer – Champneys Health Resort - Springs

Champneys is a destination health spa chain with resorts and day spas located in the English counties of Bedfordshire, Cheshire, Hertfordshire, Hampshire, Kent and Leicestershire.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and passionate Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer to join our dedicated and hardworking Fitness team at Springs.

You will work alongside an efficient and experienced team to assist in the day-to-day running of the Department/Club, to ensure that our guests and members needs are met and provided with exceptional customer service at all times.

As part of the team you will work alongside management in the daily running of the club, ensuring all problems are solved in a quick and professional manner with guests or members and make sure the department is meeting all targets.

You will provide frequent feedback to aid in the development and updating of all standards and procedures to ensure the department is running to the best of its ability. Your day will also consist of delivering a variety of classes and services whilst operating positively as a key member of the fitness and wellbeing team, to achieve the departmental aims and objectives.

You will exhibit good communication skills and deliver all/any department information to all guests, members and colleagues effectively and maintain discretion where appropriate. The guest experience we offer is of paramount importance to us, so we need to ensure you will be able to demonstrate great customer service and ensure you are polite, friendly and helpful at all times when interacting with guests and colleagues.

We require you to be qualified in the following:

• REPS 3 certified
• Exercise to music or equivalent
• Level 2 Gym Instructor certificate
• Level 3 Personal Training Certificate or Degree
• Good overall standard of education
• Previous experience providing high quality customer service in the leisure and fitness industry or health resort environment.
