  • Providing operational HR advice, guidance and support to the Regional HR Business Partners and Park Managers, across a variety of HR/ER cases. Achieved through correct procedure and Company best practice, advising at all stages and ensuring that all discussions and actions are progressed and documented in a timely manner; advice should be legally compliant, commercially focused and balanced with the Company values.
  • Manage caseload of ER cases to completion including administration of case ensuring all documentation is complete and GDPR compliant; provide advice on issues around HR Policy and procedures, complex T&Cs, collective and individual consultation and general employee relations matters, working closely with the wider ER/HRBP team and key stakeholders.
  • Offer appropriate solutions and escalate complex or serious issues to the Employee Relations Specialist when required.
  • Providing excellent remote and face to face advice in support of the business; ensuring all queries are dealt with in a consistent, timely and professional manner.
  • Attendance in a HR capacity at ER meetings in our Parks; offering guidance and support to the manager when needed.
  • Lead & coach managers through grievance hearings, investigation meetings, disciplinary hearings, and health-related absence cases.
  • You have a duty to safeguard your own health and safety and that of your colleagues, customers and visitors. You also have a duty to co-operate with Management to enable it to comply with its health and safety duties.

Person Specification 

  • Previous experience in an HR or ER Advisory role dealing with a variety of ER cases.
  • Broad and in depth understanding and application of UK employment legislation.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to meet tight conflicting deadlines and manage own workload.
  • Previous experience of multi-site organisations and can travel to all Company locations in the UK.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to adapt in order to influence at all levels in a business including at a senior management level.
  • As this is a short term role you are able to build relationships quickly, influence stakeholders and push back when required.
  • Ability to work on own initiative to solve a range of problems that may arise in the workplace.
  • Sound judgement - the ability to deliver pragmatic solutions.
  • Have provided guidance and coaching via telephone, email, and in person to line managers.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Good understanding of GDPR.
  • Computer literate MS Office Packages.
  • CIPD Qualified or equivalent.
  • Ability to travel the UK extensively.
  • Full driving license.
