The Anchor Awesome location - re-opening soon a magnificent pub restaurant Located next to Pyrford Lock, on the banks of the Wey Navigation canal, the Anchor is a lovely example of a traditional, Surrey country pub with stunning waterside views. With a beautiful terrace that runs along the canal, the pub is glorious in the summer months, and in the winter its roaring log fires and oak-beamed conservatory offer plenty in the way of cosy charm, making it the perfect destination all year around.

Job Specification - apply if you are:

• A highly organized CDP or Section Chef
• Experienced with good food knowledge
• Able to work to precise specifications for cooking and presentation
• A good team player able to inspire and support colleagues

• Able to follow food safety and hygiene standards

Previous experience as a chef in a similar role and the ability to thrive in a high paced and exciting kitchen is required. Due to the location access to independent transport would be helpful too.  

Knowledge, skills and attributes required:

• Previous experience in a branded food operation
• Able to work to precise specifications for cooking and presentation
• Able to cope under time and volume pressure
