Deputy General Manager - Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa

We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy General Manager to join our team at Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa in Redhill, Surrey.

What does the role involve?

At Hand Picked Hotels our Deputy General Managers ensure that an outstanding experience is delivered to both our guests and the team. This role involves leading from the front, engaging with people and working with our experienced Heads of department to ensure that team members feel engaged and motivated and outstanding levels of service are consistently delivered.

At Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa a number of our team members live in staff accommodation on site and the Deputy General Manager will also oversee this important area of our business, helping to ensure high standards are offered and maintained so that we can attract and retain good people to work with us.

We are looking for a polished and innovative individual with excellent hospitality and leadership skills, extensive experience of managing quality hotel operations and expert knowledge within Food & Beverage.

To meet the challenge of this role you will have:

• Recent operations management experience working to 4 or 5 star hotel service delivery standards
• A strong Food & Beverage background to include volume and multi outlet experience
• Excellent people management skills - a vibrant personality and an ability to inspire and lead both team members and senior Heads of Department
• Previous involvement in Health Club & Spa management 
• A proficient knowledge of hotel software

Previous involvement in Health Club & Spa management is desirable but not essential
