At Giggling Squid our team continues to grow, so we are looking for  a Back of house trainer to support the delivery of food quality to the company standard and specification and achieving budget targets for food costs and labour cost.

Ultimately accountable for the development and certification of all BOH employees, this includes BOH employees’ knowledge and capability in terms of technical skills, spec knowledge, Health and Safety, food hygiene, security, food preparation, processes and working practices to ensure that all legal requirements are met.

To manage and develop all aspects of chef training and development for Giggling Squid the outcome of which is better BOH retention, chef morale and its best and every chef in business has development plan

What we look for in a great Giggling back of house trainer:

· Good communication skills

· Good presentation skills

· Numeracy skills

· 3 years of experience at Area Chef or chef trainer level

· Stamina to work long periods of time to set pace for rest of the team

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Ability to nurture relationships with fellow members of staff at every level

· Ability to think through problems and come to the best solution for all parties involved

· Confident, outgoing and positive attitude

· Strong time management and organisation skills

· Willing to go the extra mile for the guests

· Degree in hospitality related course
