The perfect fit for the Red Lion will be a company with exceptional standards and a keen focus on ensuring a great guest experience every time. To take the business to the next level our new Management Partner will bring enthusiasm and the skill to manage and inspire a team.

The Pub

The Red Lion is a fantastic pub, perfectly located in the centre of Bakewell, a picturesque market town in the Derbyshire Dales. This beautiful town attracts people from far and wide who come for a wander or use it as a base for walking and exploring the Peak District. The Red Lion has great curb appeal, with a traditional inn look that is well loved by locals. We have plans to invest in the Red Lion to create a place that is an essential stop off for visitors.

The Red Lion is set in a beautiful old stone building that is full of character. It has a great space for guests to enjoy an intimate dining experience, with two rooms served by a central bar. Both areas feature rustic fire places that walkers usually huddle around. Upstairs are five ensuite letting rooms that are due to receive a complete transformation. The Red Lion boasts a beer garden with space for over 70 to dine or enjoy a drink in the sunshine.
