Full-Time contract, based on 40 hours per week, salary is £27,000 pa.

About you

As a passionate, experienced and meticulous Interiors Manager, you will be responsible for the launch of the 'Aspirational Interiors space coming to Daylesford Farm soon. Leading a small team, you will work with a hands-on approach to actively sell and promote the range to include soft furnishings, lighting, indoor & outdoor furniture.

From the initial customer enquiry through to the final delivery, you will own the customer journey with the highest level of attention to detail at all times.

You will need to be confident and have experience managing a team acting as a role model in developing, training and coaching through appraisals and personalised Learning and Development. You will be a natural leader with excellent people skills. You will set the standards for your team to follow. Previous experience in a similar role within a Homeware/Interior Design or Luxury Retail environment is desirable. 

Main responsibilities

  • Living and breathing interiors, maintaining a fastidious level of care and attention to the showroom at all times
  • To welcome and engage with every customer, living and breathing the Daylesford brand
  • To ensure consistency in the customer journey within the Interiors Team, scrupulously overseeing each order through from initial enquiry to final delivery
  • Owning the population of customer orders and booking of deliveries with complete attention to detail 
  • To assist the Retail Manager in maintaining a safe and beautifully presented workplace, ensuring we are fully compliant with H&S Audit requirements 
  • To actively drive sales through customer interaction and KPI targets within the team
  • Liaising with the Warehouse team, ensuring maximum stock availability at all times
  • Act as a role model to your team
  • Develop, train and coach your team through appraisal and Learning and Development 
  • To manage the retail ordering effectively to ensure minimum waste with full availability
