Lifeguard (Leisure Assistant)

At Sheffield City Trust we are focused on providing safe and inclusive leisure services with fantastic customer service to match our world class facilities and our Lifeguards (Leisure Assistants) are key in helping us achieve that goal on a daily basis.

We are a charitable trust working to improve the health and well being of the people of Sheffield through a portfolio of world class sport, leisure and entertainment venues, including Ponds Forge, English Institute of Sport Sheffield, Heeley Pool, Hillsborough Leisure Centre, Sheffield City Hall, FLY DSA Arena and more.

We are currently looking for NPLQ-qualified Lifeguards (Leisure Assistants) at a number of pool venues across Sheffield, including Ponds Forge, Concord Sports Centre, Hillsborough Leisure Centre, Heeley Pool and Westfield Sports Centre, with various part time contracts available from 10.5 to 32 hours per week. 

You will be keen, self motivated and with a passion for lifeguarding. You will have an up to date training record and be willing and able to attend regular staff training at your venue. A desire to deliver excellent customer service is vital as is a good understanding of health and safety procedures.

An up to date First Aid at Work Qualification would be welcome but is not essential.
