Recruitment and Training Assistant - Holywell 

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment and Training Assistant to join our busy HR team based at the Darwin Escapes Head Office at Talacre Beach Resort in North Wales.

The Recruitment and Training Assistant position is ideal for anyone with an interest in a career in Recruitment and HR, looking to gain experience within a busy office. The HR team at Darwin Escapes provides support to over 23 resorts based across the UK. As a member of the team you will assist in the many areas HR oversee including all aspects of recruitment and assisting with company training.  

The successful candidate will take on a number of day to day responsibilities including sorting incoming applications, calling and pre screening applicants, liaising with department heads and general admin duties.

This is a permanent position to work Monday to Friday. You will work until 6pm 2 days per week. Some extra hours may be required in order to achieve given deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Dealing with incoming applications, shortlisting and recording these.
• Liaising with department heads to arrange face to face interviews
• Calling applicants to pre screen ahead of booking in face to face interviews
• Chasing for feedback following interviews
• General admin duties as required
• Assist with company training as required – sourcing and booking training with external companies

What experience you will need

• Similar experience is an advantage

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Driving licence and ability to drive is advantageous due to the location of the office
• Great communication skills
• Positive attitude towards work with willingness to learn
• Ability to manage own time to complete tasks to given deadlines
