Grounds Staff/Gardener – Seasonal - Alexandria

We are recruiting for a seasonal grounds staff/gardener position within the Golf Course and Estates Department at Loch Lomond Golf Club.

This could potentially lead to a full-time permanent position.

Applicants should have:

• A passion for what they do.
• Be motivated and possess a positive attitude.
• Flexibility.
• Hold a valid U.K. driving licence
• Eligible to work in the U.K.

The successful candidate will be required to do the following.

• General golf course set-up and maintenance.
• Use pedestrian mowers.
• Use ride on mowers.
• Drive tractors and utility vehicles.
• Use Flymos, strimmers, blowers, and other hand tools.

Training will be provided for the above tasks.

Pay:                    Competitive hourly rate with excellent benefits and perks

Hours:               This will vary depending on the position.

Ground staff rota:

Sunday to Thursday approximately 40 hours per week.

Tuesday to Saturday approximately 40 hours per week.

Additional hours may be worked depending on business requirements.

Start times may vary between 0530hours and 0730 hours

Gardner rota:         

Monday to Friday approximately 40 hours and part of weekend rota.

Start time will be 0730 hours

Season will run from March/April until October/November.
