We are recruiting for a solutions focused and service oriented IT and Projects Assistant to join our IT department.
As the IT and Projects Assistant you will work closely with the Chief Technology Officer, and will assist with the general on-boarding of new members of staff in regards to IT equipment, and necessary access to systems and data. As part of your role, you’ll also be responsible for processing leaver’s accesses restrictions.
As well as supporting the IT Team with project planning, you’ll assist in the roll-out and implementation of new IT projects, training site staff, (either pre or post project roll-out), and report regularly on the delivery of these. You’ll likewise engage with the IT Team on the roll-out of other projects, and the impact these may have to their specific areas.
Whilst you will be working remotely, travel to Fusion centres and other Fusion owned sites will be required to assist with repairs / renewing, or the installation of new IT kit.
The IT and Projects Assistant position would suit you if you are a graduate with a relevant degree, who wants to gain real in-depth knowledge and experience within the field of work you have chosen to study.
To be successful in the role you will need to have excellent knowledge of IT and software packages, including experience of installing Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 10 on laptops and/or PCs. You’ll need excellent communication skills as you’ll also need to translate this information to your colleagues in a manner that builds trust and rapport.
As you’ll be working remotely regularly, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload.

Hygiene and Safety:
We highly prioritise the safety of our customers and team members. All team members across the business play their part in ensuring our centres and sites are safe and hygienic places to work.
You will champion in-role, and take personal responsibility for all hygiene and health and safety procedures when working from any Fusion centre or site.
You will also commit to undertaking day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of all equipment and fittings relevant to your role, (including phones, PCs, plug sockets and cables, tables, doors and door handles, and other shared usage equipment and touch points), to the highest possible standards; informing centre management immediately of any hygiene or health and safety risks.
