Park Holidays UK are a rapidly growing company and the largest caravan operator in the south of England. The business has a proven history of developing and promoting talented managers and an unprecedented investment programme across the group.

The Fleet Operations Assistant will assist the Fleet Operations Manager in their role across the Park Holidays UK group. This role includes travelling between our 33 holiday parks from Devon, along the south coast up to Suffolk. There will be regular overnight stays depending on the location. You will be working closely with the teams on each park as well as the suppliers and manufacturers. As part of the package your expenses and mileage will be paid for and a company credit card provided. The salary is competitive and will be discussed at interview. Holiday park experience is desirable but not essential.

Key responsibilities

  • To follow company processes, policies and procedures.

  • To ensure relevant training is implement across the parks throughout the year.

  • To help and present at the bi-annual conferences and training.

  • Regular park visits, supporting key team members within the Holidays Services and Housekeeping Department to ensure standards, processes, policies and procedures are maintained. All measured by Park Holidays UK KPI’s.

  • To check accommodation cleaning standards on parks and to ensure all cleaning products are being used to the agreed company standard.

  • Assisting the winter process, assessing accommodation for repairs, replacement items required. Collating data relevant to park visits.

  • Review our guest complaints, compliments and compensation paid and take relevant action.

  • To support in setting up of Holiday Services and Housekeeping Departments for new acquisitions.

  • Working closely with our suppliers and manufacturers, reviewing and sourcing products and managing the order process, within budget.

  • Preparing, planning and managing a budget within your area of responsibility and to monitor and maintain effective control.

  • The ability to work both commercially and operationally, within your daily duties.

The Candidate, must have;

  • A good working knowledge of all Microsoft programs is essential; including Excel, Word and Outlook

  • The flexibility to travel and stay away from home – essential.

  • A full UK driving license and access to own vehicle.

  • The ability to react quickly and resolve issues as they occur.

  • Work well as part of a team and on own initiative.
