Linen Porter 

Sandy Balls Holiday Village, Fordingbridge

Full & Part Time Roles (Must be able to work Monday and Friday)

£8.27-£9 per hour

Start Date- Early March 

What we are looking for

We are looking for a Linen Porter to support our Accommodation Team to ensure they have everything they need from the linen store.

What you’ll be doing

As a member of our Accommodation Team, you will report to our Accommodation Stock Controller and provide linen and equipment to all of the accommodation team.

This role includes:

  • You will prepare cages of linen ahead of Monday & Friday so all you need to do on a Monday & Friday is deliver the cages of clean and collect the dirty.
  • You will take ownership of deliveries of linen from our supplier and on delivery check all linen is delivered and is in the condition it should be.
  • You will also support with the external cleanliness of the Accommodation ensuring everything is cobweb free and pristine.

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on bank holidays too.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

We’ll provide training, but you must:

  • Ideally you will also have previous experience of working in a Porter type role
  • Be comfortable working to deadlines as part of a very busy Team
  • Real attention to detail with the highest of standards
  • Adaptable…conscientious and very organised
  • A sense of urgency
