What we need in a nutshell

This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Restaurant Manger to lead our charismatic onsite pub and functions venue ‘The Woodside Suite” a quirky forest hideaway serving up some delicious classics. We want someone who has the drive to take a great concept and make it a commercial and critical success through creative thinking and practical and diligent implementation.

What you’ll be doing

As part of our amazing team of holiday heroes, you will be making sure that our guests are fed, watered and having a good time all whilst maintaining the highest standards. This includes:

• Manage, lead, train and motivate a team to deliver delight
• Oversee the smooth running of the bar, restaurant and functions room including preparation for service, as well as overseeing service and supervising the after-service duties.
• Creatively seek new opportunities to develop the food and beverage offering
• Champion and lead the team while driving and developing standards
• Maximise sales whilst driving profitable growth with care and flair
• Carryout regular stock takes and order, as necessary.
• Handle deliveries and ensure health and safety regulations are always enforced

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times and eating, and drinking goes on in into the night, so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays, evenings and weekends too.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

We have high standards! We’ll train you up, but you must:

• Have previous management experience in an F&B environment
• Have excellent knowledge of Food trends while reacting to customer trends
• Show evidence of your superb people management skills
• Have an eye for detail, a head for business and a mindset for innovation
• Know your profit and loss from your balance sheet and be able to control costs and grow profit
• Have knowledge and experience of catering and its many challenges
• Have energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
