What you’ll be doing

You’ll be working closely with the Senior Financial Accountant and the central management accounts team to oversee all aspects of our day-to-day financial management, to help us to plan acquisitions and Park development spend, and to support our profit targets.

Your areas of responsibility will include:

  • Lead the monthly management accounts reporting to the Board and assist in the review of management accounts at Park level
  • Maintain the Balance Sheet reporting pack and draft areas of the Board Report
  • Lead the preparation of year-end statutory accounts under FRS 102 and assist in preparation of corporation tax packs
  • Support the auditors during year end audit procedures
  • Prepare P11ds
  • Support with compliance requirements, including completing VAT, Bingo Duty and Gaming Duty returns, and ONS surveys.
  • Work with various internal departments to improve systems and support initiatives

You will also have direct reports to manage, support and develop.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

If you can match the skills, experience and qualities listed below, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Highly driven and confident self starter, newly qualified ACA with an audit background with a long term ambition to lead a Finance team
  • Good technical knowledge of the Companies Act and FRS 102
  • Experience of consolidations and Corporation Tax
  • Proven team leadership skills and a keen interest in promoting career development in junior team members.
