We have two new exciting opportunities to work as part of the tedHQ team, managing the implementation and support for the activities and childcare operation across all Holiday Villages.

This is an exciting time to become part of the ted family as we expand our offering at Holiday Villages, supplying the entirety of the activity and entertainment programme across all eight resorts. 

About the role

Holiday Villages are the leading all action holiday brand in worldwide destinations, with a vast array of exciting activities, professionally run kids’ clubs, catering for ages 0 to 15 years old. 

Liaising with the ted team and TUI, this position is made up of two people, and is to ensure the smooth operation and communication across the resorts. 

The role requires a multitude of skillsets, from attention to detail and organisational skills, to enabling development of others and leading from the front.

Experience of working within a diverse team is essential, alongside the skills and desire to consistently achieve excellent customer service.

The role requires a dynamic and innovative professional with a forward-thinking attitude and the ability to work under your own initiative. 

Responsibilities

This role will see you work with the extended ted team and client to create, deliver and implement an exceptional Childcare and Activity programme across all eight Holiday Village resorts.

Within that, you will act as the first point of contact and operational support to Activity Managers and staff overseas, and provide implementation and support visits to ensure all resorts are fully operational, set up for the season, and continue to meet strict safety requirements.

The management of the overall results of the daytime activity and childcare offering is also crucial, monitoring CSQ’s on a weekly basis and producing action plans where required; while working with the creative team to ensure the offering remains fresh, relevant and dynamic.

This role will also see you plan strategic recruitment campaigns to capture large volumes of skilled applicants, work with the Training Manager to ensure all teams are trained to the highest standard possible, and proactively drive staff retention and development. 

Skills and experience

For this role, you must have excellent interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and experience in multi-tasking projects with stand-out organisation.

You must be a confident person with good presenting skills, and be able to lead from the front.

Experience and knowledge of the childcare industry at a management level is essential, while experience of the Holiday Villages brand is advantageous.
