We are looking for a Sous Chef to join us at our beautiful Vauxhall Holiday Park where all of the teams work hard to ensure the park maintains its 5 star food safety and consistent high standards to all of our guests at any time.

Our Sous Chefs have a real passion for delivering quality service and support the Head Chef and Kitchen team in bringing the menu to life! By preparing, cooking and presenting quality food, you will help deliver an experience our guests will remember.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage and maintain/train the correct team levels
• Accurate food-ordering and stocking levels, including all kitchen materials
•  Manage wastage through correct product measurement
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and monitor and deal with any maintenance issues
• Always adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Carry out instructions given by the management team
• Present food with the brand standard and spec at all times

The role is in a fast paced environment and within our peak times the kitchen can get rather busy so you will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to interact effectively with all levels of team in order to provide a phenomenal dining experience.

Variety of shifts across the week some starting and finishing earlier than others.

Typical shifts are 07:00am until 15:00 then 16:00 until 23:00, 13:00 until 22:00 or 16:00 until 00:00 some shifts can be adapted to suit individual requirements- we offer great flexibility.

The successful Person will:

• Have a great attitude, great presentation and will play a role within a team that is fun, passionate and enthusiastic
• Hold Food Hygiene Level 2 certification.
• Have previous experience in a busy faced paced kitchen.
• Be a strong communicator.
• Have exceptional planning & organisational skills.
• Be a strong team player.
