As the Senior Manager, Strategy Acceleration you will solidify General Merchandise's role in our discount platform, partnership and omni channel strategy, delivering a range of trials and innovation to set the GM business unit up for future success.

In this role you will focus on identifying partnership opportunities alongside the strategy and Senior Director teams, exploring the feasibility of each opportunity and providing well researched and balanced recommendations. You will have the opportunity to progress and lead the trial and execution phase of new partnerships and will partner with the strategy team to make recommendations on further rollout and the implications to the GM business.  

Alongside two direct reports you will also be accountable for outlining and developing Grocery Home Shopping and Store Space strategies. You'll weave this together with our partnerships strategy and outline our strategic goals for the next 3-5 years, ensuring we have the best customer journey in place.

About You  

Extensive leadership experience and demonstrable experience of leading teams through change Knowledge working with partners and managing third party relationships Previous experience in a Buying or other Commercial role Strategic mindset with the ability to see bigger picture without getting lost in detail Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders, influencing and challenging decision making  Ability to understand multiple commercial strategic projects
