Exciting new venue coming to Birmingham in 2021

Are you an experienced manager looking for a challenge in an exciting new concept venue where you can help build the business from the ground up and make the role your own?

Our client is looking for a forward-thinking manager to build and train a fantastic team of individuals to launch the venue to the public in Spring 2021 in Birmingham. You must have experience running venues and understand the need to promote and fill the venue, as well as a wide breadth of experience managing teams and providing first class customer experience.

Starting in January, you’ll get involved in shaping how operations will run, helping make decisions about the systems and processes, working alongside the management and project team as they get ready to launch.

The venue

Based in Digbeth, this ground-breaking virtual reality venue takes a completely new approach to immersive experience and customers will be amazed at the journey they are being taken on! The story begins as soon as they book their session and is then enhanced as they walk through the door of the venue into a futuristic world. There’ll be a bar and food offering and you’ll work closely with our partner to ensure everything runs smoothly.

The role

As an experienced General / Venue Manager from an entertainment background, you’ll be used to the responsibility of ensuring the smooth running of the venue, an outstanding customer journey as well as delivering results on ticket sales.

You’ll love working in a creative environment and be passionate and hands-on about leading a great team.

If you’re ambitious and are looking for development, there are also opportunities to grow with the business and assist with events, launching new venues or getting involved in B2B projects.
