Job Position Summary & Qualification-

We are looking for an experienced Fitness Operations Manager to manage our business. We are a group of company with multiples sites and facilities across Qatar with few other plans for extension.

The Operations Manager’s primary responsibility is to oversee the General Managers in order to achieve a high level of service delivery and presentation to all clients and staff while ensuring the mission and vision of the company are met.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Receiving reports from managers and presenting to higher management
  • Visiting each facility minimum once a week/implementing system to oversee smooth running of operations
  • Meeting with managers every week to discuss operational issues.
  • Overseeing the process of interviewing and recruiting candidates
  • Liaise with managers in developing and implementing KPI targets
  • Ensuring first class customer service are delivered
  • Overseeing maintenance and operational issues with managers
  • Liaise with managers in creating promotions and sales programmes to drive sales
  • Working with managers to administer, promote and develop fitness programs
  • Liaise with managers to set and review operating and capital budgets and manage cost.
  • Overseeing inventory, distribution of goods and facility layout.
  • Serves as a link between operations, HR and other departments
  • Organize educational training, seminars and meetings for personal training staff for professional growth.
  • Implement customer suggestions and recommendations to optimize training program.

Candidate requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in exercise physical education, recreation or other related field.
  • Extensive fitness operations and staff management experience from within a fitness /leisure facility environment.
  • Outstanding leadership & communication skills with a passion for fitness & customer service
  • Highly organized, able to multitask with great attention to detail
  • Sound business skills including budget management, strategic thinking, problem solving, program planning and the development and implementation of new policies and directions
  • Personal training certification and CPRP preferred.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in same capacity
  • Confident using IT systems and applications, including MS Office
