Kitchen Production Manager - West London

Rosa’s Thai Café is looking for a Kitchen Production Manager to take over our newly developed production unit in West London. This is a new and exciting opportunity to lead a team of production chefs and play an essential role in the company’s growth and food development. 

Combining modern London with modern Bangkok, Rosa’s Thai Café grew from a humble beginning of a street stall on Brick Lane’s Sunday market in the trendy East End of London, which quickly became the locals’ favourite, to now having 21 sites across the UK and already in the works of opening many more!

The position:

  • You will be responsible for the entire production operation of many ingredients and items produced in our central kitchen, then utilised by all our restaurants across the business
  • Working closely with our back of house operations team, you will ensure food items are produced and dispatched efficiently by planning production schedules to meet restaurant demands
  • You will oversee the storage and monitor stock control of both food and packaging
  • You will ensure the production operation is audited and operates within EHO guidelines
  • You will focus on developing and motivating your team to achieve the highest quality standards and determining their daily priorities
  • Responsible for the recruitment and training of new team members as well as acting as resource to them
  • You will act a leader for the chef team by setting targets, organising rotas and managing their development and performance

What we are looking for:

  • Prior management experience in a high-volume and fast pace food production unit
  • A broad knowledge of different cooking methods and mass food production procedures
  • We want a confident individual who will be looking for ways in which the current procedures can be adapted and improved to suit the scaling plans of the business
  • Experience working with ordering systems such as Comtrex and liaising with external suppliers
  • A strong knowledge in food safety and accreditation bodies
  • We have many plans to utilise our production kitchen for several revenue streams, so we are looking for an entrepreneurial manager ready to take on a challenge as well as learning new skills on the way

You will be given an in-depth training plan for you to learn our ways of working and you remain under guidance of our back of house operations manager.
