SENIOR NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Hall & Woodhouse is recruiting for a ‘Grocery Senior National Account Manager’. This exciting new role is needed to support the Grocery Business Unit Controller in delivering the short to medium term sales & customer objectives whilst also supporting them to develop the sales team for future success. The role is home based with travel to customers and our Dorset brewery HQ as required.

As the Senior National Account Manager for Grocery, you have 4 main goals:

• To deliver the H&W agenda within several of our most important customers (Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose, Ocado, Booths, Majestic, M&S).
• To be a leading voice for our grocery customers internally, supporting the Grocery Business Unit Controller and working cross functionally with the wider team to help build and deliver a sustainable, customer focused strategy for our beer brands.
• To be a leading voice of the business externally, using your Grocery customer experience to influence at buyer / senior buyer level across the identified customer base.
• Play a major role in channel planning, using your Grocery knowledge to input and help shape the future direction of our ‘take home’ business.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

• Significant FMCG drinks experience (beer preferable but not essential)
• Minimum of 4 years experience operating at a National Account Manager (or equivalent) level
• Experience of direct P&L responsibility for one or more of the top 5 Grocery customers (Tesco, JS, Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose).
