Senior Payroll Manager - London

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for Senior Payroll Manager to join our Head Office Team, the role will be based in Central London, and will look after a small team that support a large estate of Restaurants across the UK. This position requires knowledge of local pay regulations, and operational experience of processing monthly payroll for both salary and hourly rate employees. The ideal candidate should thrive working under pressure and in a fast paced environment. They should possess strong data accuracy, data analytics, good communication skills  and the desire to continuously drive improvements and simplify processes whilst Managing a small team. This person will report directly to the Senior Finance Team and Financial Director and will partner closely with People (HR), Finance Managers and Payroll Provider.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Supporting all UK payrolls
• Being the point of escalation for all payroll queries
• High volume data processing and reporting
• Checking data errors and clarity (data received & peer review)
• Managing a small team and leading the team to deliver deadlines and prioritising workload
• Liaising with key stakeholders such as HR, payroll providers, finance
• SLA management with Payroll Providers (tracking and providing feedback)
• Reviewing Processes for improvements (streamlining and documenting processes)
• Processing initiatives and ad hoc company requirements (e.g. pay review  and Salary Sacrifice)

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• At least 4 years experience as a Payroll Manager with and experience of Managing a team
• Hands-on experience with payroll and people software (Fourth Hospitality)
• Strong ability on Excel
• Experience using Google Suites (e.g. Google Drive, Google Sheets)
• The ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
• Innovative and resourceful mindset 
• Excellent written and spoken English language
