Multi-Sports Coach (Casual) - Wentworth Club - Virginia Water

Wentworth Club is one of the world’s finest private members golf and country clubs, famous for its Championship golf courses in addition to a luxury Tennis & Health Club. The Club is surrounded and entwined within the Wentworth Estate, one of the most prestigious private estates in the London suburbs where many top golfers and celebrities have their homes. Our goal is to position Wentworth as the world’s premier golf and country club, and we need to hire talented people like you to get us there. Working as part of our Tennis & Health team, we are seeking candidates to deliver our multi-sports programmes, holiday camps and physical activity sessions to children of all ages, inspiring and engaging all to join in.

Key Areas of Activity

  • Lead and deliver sports and physical activity sessions on holiday camps. 
  • Deliver community sports sessions such as early evening clubs and Weekend sessions. Liaising with Members (parents) over the setting up and running of activities.
  • Supporting the sales and marketing efforts by contributing to social media campaigns and delivering marketing information.
  • Taking responsibility for their own personal development by keeping abreast of developments in the coaching sectors and by pro-actively seeking out and attending training courses and other opportunities to improve skills.
  • Supporting the development of the business by contacting parents to introduce the company’s services and arranging meetings.

Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience of working with children of all ages.
  • Qualifications in sports coaching and delivering physical activities to children.
  • Enhanced DBS check holder or ability to obtain one.
  • Confident, outgoing personality with the ability quickly gain trust of children and parents.
  • A good sense of fun and making activities enjoyable but safe for children.
  • Keen to develop professionally and actively seeks opportunities to improve.
  • An excellent communicator with energy and enthusiasm.
  • A target driven, flexible person with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and still deliver required results.
