Lounge & Bar Assistant - Hook

Variable Hours - Hours as required and as and when discussed.
Weekend Hours will be required.

Overview: Ensure that the Lounge & Bar areas are correctly prepared for service - including afternoon tea. To serve all beverages to the required standard, and to ensure such service is friendly and efficient. To be aware of all the duties relating to the role of bar person refer to the function details and ensure that such duties are carried out to the required standards. Assistant the Lounge and Terrace with food orders and ensure a smooth running of service. To have a good knowledge of the history, services and facilities of the hotel and to ensure all members of staff have likewise. Efficient and satisfactory handling of customer complaints, and avoidance of these complaints by maintaining consistent, excellent, attentive and timely customer service.

Attributes/Experience required:

  • Have exceptional customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to demonstrate recent relevant experience in the same role
  • Be a great team player.
  • Have excellent time management.
