About the role:
 
The CRM planner is responsible for planning, creating, and executing world-class CRM campaigns across a range of retail categories, focusing on price and content led advertising, with the aim of driving customer retention and acquisition.

The ins and outs:

  • Planning, creating, and executing weekly CRM communications to drive customer retention and acquisition for the business
  • Working alongside a third party agency and numerous internal stakeholders on a daily basis to achieve optimised comms, which deliver for the business
  • Working with our online teams to ensure clear customer journeys from click through to transaction
  • Proactively manage the continual optimisation of Open Rates, Click Through Rates and Unsubscribe Rates
  • Ensuring campaign brand guidelines are met by working with the creative teams or project owners
  • Working with the CX team to define and enhance customer comms journeys
  • Implement testing plans to improve the results and relevancy of campaigns. Ensure campaigns and tests are set up in such a way to feed into productionised reporting
  • Analyse & interpret CRM data, including testing data to understand opportunities for improvement
  • Working with the data team to ensure target audiences and volumes are correct and will achieve planned forecast to drive acquisition and retention
  • Develop enhanced personalisation and dynamic content to optimise our emails and campaigns
  • Working with George Data Analysts to build out a George contact strategy based on customer insight. Feed into the George analytical roadmap.
  • Work with Marketing Effectiveness to understand how George campaigns are performing using test / control analysis and digital attribution; using this to inform strategy.
  • Investigation and discovery of new data sources which can be used to achieve acquisition and retention goals. Feed these into data development roadmap

 

What you will need:

  • CRM experience in a B2C environment
  • Ecommerce retail experience desired, but not essential
  • Understanding and competency of using ESPs
  • The ability to demonstrate a customer centric mind-set
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to flex plans and reprioritise
  • Naturally curious, passionate about marketing, data and tech, and doing the right thing for our customers
  • Skilled in the process of test and learn
  • A track record of working with and influencing wider business stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience of working and managing third party agency partners
