Your role at Signature

Our Head of Dementia will be an inspirational leader, driving a culture of continuous improvement for all aspects of dementia care and support across all our homes. You’ll be responsible for setting the vision for Signature’s dementia care, developing a robust care strategy and driving implementation across all homes.

Reporting to the COO, you’ll provide direction and clarity to the operation through decisive decision making and leadership. You’ll evaluate new developments in the dementia care field and provide mentorship to functional areas including strategy, operations and sales to maximise dementia care services. You’ll identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, and lead action planning to take advantage of these opportunities.

In addition to strategic delivery, you’ll be responsible for driving team performance and stakeholder management. You’ll be involved in developing elite talent within the dementia care space and empowering Dementia Care Managers and Activity Heads towards autonomous delivery. You’ll regularly update Signature’s Board of Directors and corporate partners regarding strategic progress, establish credibility throughout the customer and partner network, establish resident forums, and manage external relationships with key strategic stakeholders, such as the Alzheimer’s Society and CQC.

In addition to a minimum three years’ experience in a similar role, including substantial experience managing multi-site, customer-centric organisations, you’ll need to demonstrate a strong leadership background and excellent personal presentation skills.
