About the role:

It is an exciting time to join the team within Online Grocery - the fastest growing part of Asda's retail business. In order to harness and leverage the growth we are experiencing it is vital that we grow capacity in the right locations and across the right customer propositions. Reporting into the Capacity Strategy Manager, the Capacity Model Analyst is responsible for guiding the development of key projects by maintaining a comprehensive overview of current operational capacity and tracking market demand changes to inform the direction of future capacity investment. 

The Analyst is responsible for the collation and maintenance of data on Asda's current operational capacity across all model formats. You will monitor demographic data and market changes to inform the operational strategic direction and will develop, test and refine geographical capacity models to identify the best commercial opportunities for expansion and improve store profitability.

About you

The successful candidate will likely have an ecommerce or retail background and will have a strong understanding of ecommerce systems and technology. You will need to have excellent technical and analytical capabilities, and the ability to use Excel, Alteryx and Tableau confidently. A strong commercial awareness coupled with the ability to engage with and influence senior level stakeholders is crucial.
