In this role, you'll be pivotal to ensuring that our corporate and business strategies are supported by the very best financial accounting and control processes - and that these processes continually maximise our profitability and efficiency.

As a Finance Manager within our Financial Control team, you will combine technical accounting with coaching, communication, influencing, leadership and prioritisation skills to ensure that we maintain a strong control environment over one of our key Trading areas, and help the Traders/Buyers to deliver their financial plan.

Day to day you will have the opportunity to manage a team of two qualified accountants, providing coaching and guidance to deliver team and business priorities. Alongside your team you will constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve processes and identify efficiencies across the function.

About You

You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with post qualification experience and a strong technical accounting background.  Ideally you will have previous leadership experience, particularly coaching and developing others and you will be able to think laterally and have the confidence challenge the status quo.
