The Montagu Arms is a long established and well frequented pub in Mexborough just outside Doncaster. Extremely popular with the whole community it is the venue of choice welcoming guests through its doors to enjoy a whole host of activities.

From daytime and after work drinks, to Prosecco & Karaoke nights with friends. Sports lovers gather to watch all the weeks most anticipated games and horse racing is regularly on show for guests to enjoy proving The Montague has something for everyone.

There is always something going on at the Montagu, with Monday afternoon Karaoke being one its busiest sessions and we are now looking for a Management Company who will thrive in this lively environment and take this business to the next level in terms of sales.

An understanding of what makes the locals tick is essential - strong community ties are really important in this pub, and the ideal company will be able to ensure their team are engaged with local football, darts and pool teams. The pub has a good following for live sports so having a passion for sport, particularly football, would be ideal to really drive this business.

A strong local knowledge of which bands and live acts to book from within the local area would be beneficial and the Management Company should have a good understanding of how to efficiently manage the entertainment budget and spend wisely to generate the most return for the extensive entertainment offer needed in this pub.

The pub was invested in three years ago, creating a large open plan trading area. The transformation of the pub has been extremely positive, the large screen TVs and sound system are excellent and create a great atmosphere for live sports events and live or pre-recorded music nights.
