Netherhall Sports Centre has a vacancy for a part-time

Duty Manager

 

 

to be responsible for the safe and efficient running of the Sports Centre during evenings and weekends, including the effective supervision of operational staff. A current sporting qualification and a First Aid certificate is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. Most importantly, you will have great people skills and have an interest in sporting activities.

 

Hours:       25 per week over 52 weeks per annum

Work pattern each week:      Monday and Wednesday from 5.15pm to 10.15pm, Saturday and Sunday from 8.30am to 5pm (with half hour unpaid break each day). We can offer flexible working for the right candidate up to a maximum of 25 hours.

 

Actual Salary: £13049

Salary: Grade 3 points 5 - 6 (£19312 - £19698) pro rata to number of hours worked each week).

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Locking / unlocking areas of lettings
  • Assisting the user groups using the facilities
  • Taking bookings by telephone or in person
  • Collection of payment
  • Ensuring the Sports Centre and the associated facilities are well maintained
