Assistant Restaurant Manager - Kingham

The Wild Rabbit family is growing, and we are looking for a passionate and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager.

Full time contract, is £25,000 per annum plus service charge.

About you

As our Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll be a natural leader with excellent communication skills. Your attention to detail will be second-to-none and you will be passionate for exceptional service.

Main responsibilities

  • To ensure the restaurant is set up for the day, constantly checking tables and replenishing stock and maintaining standards, delegating tasks where appropriate
  • To actively drive sales, by identifying all opportunities for recommendations
  • To maintain full knowledge of the menu, including beverages, and able to give detailed descriptions of the dishes, provide recommendations for guests and give accurate allergens advice
  • To ensure effective shift management, leading and motivating the front of house team, delivering a seamless service in conjunction with the Bar Manager
  • To keep a constant attentive eye to the timing and flow of service, highlighting any delays and taking action where necessary
  • To lead services standards within the dining room
  • To support the General Manager and Restaurant Manager to deliver business objectives

About you:

  • Fine dining restaurant management experience
  • High level client relationship management
  • Proven ability to deliver high standards of operations and service excellence
  • Exceptional food and beverage knowledge
