Sous\Second Chef

Originally an auction house built in the 1960’s Hall & Woodhouse is a stunning bar and restaurant in the heart of Bath, voted a must see by the Mail on Sunday. No matter what the occasion H&W Bath is the perfect venue. Accessed by a grand central staircase from the ground floor Pantry is the main dining room with its open kitchen and then to top it all off a beautiful roof terrace. We are looking for a senior chef to help lead our amazing team in this high energy and highly rewarding kitchen.

Job Specification - apply if you are:

• A highly organized Sous or Second Chef, able to deputize for Head Chef when required
• Experienced with a broad food knowledge
• Able to work to precise company specifications for cooking and presentation
• A good leader able to inspire your kitchen team

• Able to follow and enforce food safety and hygiene standards

Previous experience as a head or second chef in a similar role and the ability to thrive in a high paced and exciting kitchen is required.   Knowledge, skills and attributes required:

• Previous experience in a high end branded food operation
• Able to work to precise specifications for cooking and presentation
• Able to inspire a team and to cope under time and volume pressure
