Fitness Coach - Canterbury

- Permanent, part time 15 hours per week (0.4FTE)
Main purpose of the role
Working under the direction of the Active Health Manager, the Fitness Coach will uphold the Excellence as Standard approach and provide a first-class fitness and sport activity experience for all sport centre members. The Fitness Coach will be the face of Christ Church Sport & Active Health and will have responsibility for excellent customer service and user experience as well as responsibility for assisting in the day to day operations of the sports centre.
What will I be doing?
- Engaging with our members throughout the sports centre
- Understand and advise members on the correct usage of equipment
- Leading group exercise classes at the sports centre, online and on campus
- Delivering inductions and tours of the facility
- Activity set ups
What are we looking for?
- Experience working in a sports and exercise facility
- Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification
- Exercise Class qualifications/experience
- Passion for sport, health and fitness
- Positive attitude
- Good communication skills

What hours will I be working?
- This is a 15 hour position and will be divided in to 3 X 5 hour shifts
