Situated less than a mile from busy Crawley town and close to Gatwick airport, the Goffs Manor is the perfect example of a traditional pub at the heart of its local community. A beautiful 15th century Grade II listed house, dating back to c 1450, this ancient building is striking in character and charm and was formerly the home of actor Peter Vaughan, Porridge’s genial Harry Grout. With a large and beautiful garden, incorporating its very own duck pond, as well as roaring log fires and oak beams inside for those darker and colder winter nights, the Goffs Manor has plenty of character and charm all year round. We are looking for a chef to complete our super team in this high energy and rewarding business.

Previous experience as a chef in a similar role and the ability to thrive in a high paced and exciting kitchen is required.  

Knowledge, skills and attributes required:

• Previous experience in a high end branded food operation
• Able to work to precise specifications for cooking and presentation
• Able to cope under time and volume pressure
