Halo is a large, vibrant inner-city bar with a lively atmosphere. It has an open feel and operates over two floors, one at ground level and one on the first floor, both with their own entrance and exits. The ground floor acts as a sports bar and restaurant. It has a fresh, modern feel with comfortable, colourful furnishings and plenty of TV screens for sports viewing. At present the first-floor acts as an adult entertainment venue, this space has huge potential and could easily be transformed into a nightclub.

Halo boasts a large catering kitchen that is capable if servicing the entire pub, including the ground floor restaurant area. The bar is well loved for its friendly feel and delicious food, with it being a well ingrained part of Aberdeen nightlife.

About the local area

Halo is ideally located just off Union Street in the heart of Aberdeen city centre. It is one of many popular, restaurants, clubs and bars in the immediate area, making Halo a usual stop off for locals on a Saturday night. It's located near to Robert Gordon University so is surrounded by student accommodation and is within walking distance of Aberdeen Football Club ground, with the sports element of the pub being a key draw on matchdays.

Ideal operator

This is the perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic operator who thrives in a busy city environment. In its present operation, an experienced adult entertainment operator would be ideal to oversee the sports bar on the ground floor and possibly convert the upper floor to a traditional club venue.

About the Agreement

Our Tenancy agreements vary between 3 - 5 years offer a flexible approach to running your own pub business. Your pub will be ready to trade, with carefully tailored food and drinks menus in place which you can evolve as you go along.

You will receive a high level of support and everything you need to run a successful business. From the beginning, you will have dedicated Operations Manager, plus access to training and development, business planning, operations and accounting expertise.

Once you've completed the 5-day induction course we'll provide you with ongoing support to help you maximise the efficiency, sales and profitability of your pub. This includes helping you decide on the right drinks offer, guidance on margin and support creating a marketing plan to build for continued success. To help market your pub, we also offer lots of support and advice.

Punch Tenancy agreements have shared repairs liability, we will help you manage your ongoing repairing obligations. We do this by operating a repairs and maintenance fund for all new agreements.

* The calculation of the initial Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit (3,000 or 6,000) plus legal fees. The subsequent deposit build up (if any) will need to be paid over 52 weeks. This can be discussed with the recruitment team or Operations Manager.
