The White Lion is a fantastic pub/restaurant business opportunity which sits just outside the market town of Dunstable, Bedfordshire in the East of England. It's a spacious destination pub (serving up to 100 covers and parking for up to 80 vehicle) which also benefits from the busy A5 road that it sits on, so there is plenty of passing trade. The pub has established a great reputation for offering a warm welcome for anything from a great beer to a relaxing brunch or Sunday roast or a special meal to mark an occasion. It often caters for parties and events and there is an opportunity to grow this side of the business.
Business facilities
The pub offers some excellent facilities including a spacious separate lounge bar and dining area which is well decorated and demonstrates the highest of standards. When you walk in through the hallway, you are met by the bar. To the right is the 100-seater dining room set over two levels with comfy banquette seating and soft cushions and on the left is the bar with a mixture of high seating and horseshoe banquette seating. The bar is large and spacious and offers a great selection of premium draught beers including cask ales.

There is a flurry of buildings along the new M1 A5 link including residential areas and industrial and business buildings which offer potential business.

Our Tenancy agreements vary between 3 - 5 years offer a flexible approach to running your own pub business. Your pub will be ready to trade, with carefully tailored food and drinks menus in place which you can evolve as you go along.
You will receive a high level of support and everything you need to run a successful business. From the beginning, you will have dedicated Operations Manager, plus access to training and development, business planning, operations and accounting expertise.
Once you've completed the 5-day induction course we'll provide you with ongoing support to help you maximise the efficiency, sales and profitability of your pub. This includes helping you decide on the right drinks offer, guidance on margin and support creating a marketing plan to build for continued success. To help market your pub, we also offer lots of support and advice.
Punch Tenancy agreements have shared repairs liability, we will help you manage your ongoing repairing obligations. We do this by operating a repairs and maintenance fund for all new agreements.
* The calculation of the initial Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit (3,000 or 6,000) plus legal fees. The subsequent deposit build up (if any) will need to be paid over 52 weeks. This can be discussed with the recruitment team or Operations Manager.
