Active Nation are on the hunt for a fitness coach (duty manager) to join our team at Active Nation Preston

We’re looking for passionate, driven individuals who can enthuse and engage with our supporters (customers/members) creating a positive experience of our Club. If you are confident, self-motivated, enjoy being a part of a BRILLiANT team and are a great conversationalist then we’d love to hear from you!

• Are you an enthusiastic individual with a positive, supporter (member) focused attitude?
• Do you have experience within the gym industry
• Can you inspire, encourage and motivate our supporters (members) to be more active?
• Are you ready for your next challenge, hungry for success?
• Are you a strong leader with the right skills to manage a large gym?

You will report to the Club/Assistant Manager and be responsible for:

• Teaching of classes (variety of classes, Gym floor, studio Les Mills)
• Gym interaction with supporters
• Sales experience (touring of potential new supporters, sign ups, outreach activity, calls, and lead generation)
• Gym inductions, inducting new supporters into the gym.
• Cleaning (gym equipment, gym floor, studio’s, changing rooms)
• First aid trained essential
• Lone working
• Opening and closing of the gym
• Working hours from 6am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday on a shift pattern so flexibility is a must.
