SALARY: £18,865 - £22,638

Shift Pattern and Contracted Hours

Hours: 40

Shifts: Day - 6am  2pm or 7am to 3pm and 8.00am - 4.00pm. Weekend working 5 from 7

Job Description

 

This is a warehouse operative role, working at our new flagship distribution centre in Enfield. You would be paid a minimum of 22.5k Per annum based on working 5 day shifts over 7 days. Including weekends. Sundays,Bank holidays and overtime are paid at premium rates. You would be expected to pick various products (Eg cases of drinks & crisps, chilled Sandwich Ingredients and Frozen goods) for our 475 shops. Working at -18c in our Freezer chamber, up to room temperature in our Ambient picking locations. PPE is provided. Skills
  • Comfortable with long periods of standing, lifting and carrying
  • Ability to work in cold/frozen areas
  • Legal entitlement to work in the UK (e.g. Valid VISA or Work Permit for non EEC residents)
  • Flexible in availability for working hours (as may be required to work different shifts each week, or asked to work overtime)
  • Have a good level of literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ideally have previous food handling experience in a warehouse environment
  • A Fork Lift Truck licence would be beneficial but is not compulsory.
