Coffee Bank is looking for a chef!

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and reliable café chef to join the Coffee Bank team.

This position could suit:

·A restaurant chef/cook who wants to experience café culture with daytime hours, we’re open until 7pm (no late nights here!)

·Someone with an interest in vegan/vegetarian/gluten free menus and café culture, who also has good kitchen experience.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who shares our goal of growing and developing with us over time. Someone who is interested in the food we serve but who also understands how a busy kitchen works.

• You have sufficient kitchen experience.
• You are creative and able to contribute to develop and inspire a healthy menu. We love new ideas!
• You are passionate about a fresh and healthy inclusive menu including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free dishes inspired by Hawaiian and world flavours.
• You can develop and stick to great procedure.
• You understand the premise of stock control.
• You are punctual and reliable.

Key responsibilities include:

• Contributing to the smooth operation of a small kitchen team.
• Contributing to continue develop the menu further (we are constantly developing our menu).
• Preparing fresh salads, breakfasts, sandwiches, wraps and hot dishes.
• Maintaining health and hygiene standards at all times.
• Controlling stock, communicating and building good relationships with suppliers.
