Fitness Instructor - ALIVE FITNESS CENTRE - Osprey Learning Trust

Required January 2020

The Directors of Osprey Learning Trust are looking to recruit a proactive and enthusiastic Fitness Instructor at our ALIVE Fitness Centre based at our secondary school site in Teignmouth.

We are seeking to expand our offer of classes and your role will be to welcome all customers, design and deliver high quality classes and ensure all participant’s individual needs and abilities are catered for.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake sessions according to the programme timetable and ensure classes commence at the designated times;
• Maintain own mandatory qualifications, licensing and CPD/ training requirements;
• Assist the members of the public in their use of the facilities, encouraging maximum usage;
• Ensure the efficient and effective operation of sessions, including equipment set up and take down
• Keep up to date with new classes/products within the industry.

To be successful as an ALIVE Class Instructor, you will need:

• Level 2 Exercise or Level 2 Fitness Instructing
• Experience of delivering classes in a comparable role
• Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation

Osprey Learning Trust is committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young adults. If successful, you will undergo an Enhanced Level DBS check.
