Spa Duty Manager - The Coniston Hotel Country Estate and Spa, Skipton

You will be passionate about providing an excellent service. The role is varied, as no two days are the same, therefore it would be ideal for someone who enjoys being hands on. Do you have the ability to remain calm during difficult situations or in a very busy environment?

As Duty Manager you must have a welcoming and friendly manner, have a keen eye for attention to detail and be extremely guest and customer focused to ensure each guest enjoys their stay and will want to return time and time again. Your duties involve working closely with the whole team to ensure consistency is maintained throughout the Hotel and ensuring this is carried out in all departments of the Spa. You will train and motivate all members of the team and be responsible for the Spa when on duty.

Days and hours of work: 3 days a week based on 10-hour shifts with 4-days off

Responsible for the Day-to-day-Operation· ensuring that the spa is fit for operation including staffing, health & safety and general quality standards**

Your responsibilities will include:

the appearance of the outside and indoor facility, driving retail sales, ensuring that all the team adhere to company code of conduct and maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and cleanliness

You would need to attend regular meetings and share with the team and collaborate with other Heads of Departments and ensure that levels of communication between Duty Managers and Heads of Departments is maintained at all times by handover book plus e-mail to all heads of departments at the end of shift ·

Do you have

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Experience of leadership and people management
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety and security procedures
  • Excellent leadership skills and exceptional communication skills
  • A passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
