Chef de Partie / Breakfast Chef - Holiday Inn Dumfries

We are currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie / Breakfast Chef to join our friendly, hard-working team at the Holiday Inn, Dumfries. Set amongst some of the finest scenery in Scotland the hotel is situated within a historic & award-winning 85 acre estate of parkland & gardens. The hotel boasts 71 bedrooms, an onsite bar & restaurant & conference & banqueting facilities for up to 80 guests.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Head Chef you will be required to work unsupervised using your own initiative; however we are seeking individuals who also really enjoy working as part of a team & who will contribute to the overall success of the hotel.

In this position, your flair for high standards of food preparation & superb presentation are called for. You will help run all food outlets within the hotel, assist in the training of other chefs in good working procedures & take care of a broad range of other duties.

Your hours of work could be from 6am covering breakfast, 4pm in preperation for the evening service or on some occassions, a split shift covering both. You will be required to work three to five days either midweek or at the weekend, depending on the needs of the business.
