Floor Housekeeper - Royal Garden Hotel, London
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of this professional and well established Housekeeping Department in an independent five star 394 bedroom hotel in the heart of Kensington, London. In 2007 the department was recognised by the Hotel and Catering Personnel and Training Association by awarding the Executive Housekeeper 'Excellence by an Operations Line Manager'.
As Floor Housekeeper you will be responsible for supervising a team of Room Attendants, House Porters and Evening Room Attendants, ensuring that our bedrooms are turned around effectively and presented in line with our exceptional five star standards as well as that guest requests are responded to in an efficient and courteous manner. You will be responsible for checking 80 to 85 rooms. You will need to build strong working relationships with other departments within the hotel such as our Front Office team and Technical Services.
We are looking for an individual who has a good track record of previous housekeeping supervisory experience in a four or five star hotel of a similar standard. You must have good English language skills. You will need to demonstrate a proactive approach to communication. You will bring the ability to delegate effectively and monitor progress as well as having an eye for detail when checking rooms.
