Laundry Supervisor - Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa, Hampshire

Aim of the role

To ensure that all Linen is cleaned and prepared and that all done every day, Supervise the Laundry team to conduct all day to day duties.

Responsibilities:

• To be confident and ensure the cleaning of all laundry on a daily basis, towels, sheets, duvets them put them through the Iron Press when requires.
• To take ownership and ensure that the General Assistants have help and assistant to carry the heavy laundry from the rooms.
• To show ownership and be responsible to delegate additional day to day duties as and when required.
• To take pride in ensuring that the Laundry is kept clean at all times even behind machines, wipe top of washing machines and dryers.
• To ensure upkeep of maintenance on machinery by hoovering the pressed machines out and clean the air vents.
• To take pride in ensuring that the laundry and linen room floor and mopped and kept clean on a regular basis.
• To take pride in ensuring that the Linen room is kept tidy and put towels in correct places and clean under the shelf.
• To complete any daily duties that are required to be done, understanding teamwork and flexibility.
• All staff should be confident in understanding and executing the company's policies and procedures with respect to privacy, confidentiality and data protection.
• To be fully aware of the Hotel's Fire Safety Procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
