Cook / Kitchen Assistant - Furzefield Leisure Centre, Potters Bar

Full Time (39 hours per week) includes evenings and weekends on a shift pattern

Up to £17,542 pa (Depending upon age & experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 cooks at Furzefield, Potters Bar working with a dynamic and friendly team to working in the main café unit at the Centre.

We are looking for those who have experience, energy and enthusiasm as well as a good understanding of the role including food prep and cooking, health and safety, cleaning, high standards in customer service and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have minimum level 2 food safety or the ability to achieve this within a month of employment.

The role includes prepping and cooking for the on-site nursery and holiday club as well as catering for breakfast, lunch and after school meals for the general public.

Hours available include some evenings and weekends work.

The role will involve serving customers and cash handling, cleaning and housekeeping of the café and kitchen area, preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
