We are delighted to be able to start the search for the Bar Manager at the newest addition to our Group – THE PIG at Harlyn Bay.

The role of Bar Manager is key to our success in this brand-new adventure. A can-do attitude and not being afraid to ‘muck in’ is essential, as being part of a new opening will be hard work but very rewarding. Most importantly all our senior members of staff must be truly reflective of our brand and able to lead our teams to provide the high levels of service we are known for.

As Bar Manager, you will have a proactive, motivated attitude and bring with you a strong Beverage knowledge to pass onto other members of the team.

Our bar is like no other - our vodkas are infused by the herbs, flowers and berries from the kitchen garden, bacon is added to our bourbon and caramel to our rum. There is no limit to what we can do and this all comes from the creative minds of our bar team.

As a Bar Manager you will be supporting the effective set up and operation of the bar areas. You will lead a Bar team of skilled Bartenders and Bar Staff. Supporting their development is key to being a successful Bar Manager at THE PIG, as you will monitor your teams progress and develop their skills both behind the bar and on the floor. Our Bar Manager must be confident and driven to provide a quality, yet relaxed style of service.

Previous experience as a Bar Manager, or similar is preferred, along with the knowledge of classic cocktails and skills of mixing modern twists!
You will need to be flexible with working hours to include evenings/weekends and not afraid to be hands on.

We are very excited to start recruiting for a few of the key senior roles at THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay. Whilst we are starting our search now for the next Home Grown Heroes, we do not anticipate these positions to start until approximately March 2020.

All other roles will be open for applications in January 2020. We will be holding an open day in February for candidates who want to know more about us. Please keep an eye on our website for the dates and location of this.
