Swimming Teacher | Fox Hollies Leisure Centre

Location: Fox Hollies, Acocks Green, Birmingham, B27 7NS

Working Hours: Casual with possibility of regular contract

Salary: £9.50 per hour (casual), £10.10 (regular)

An excellent opportunity is available to join this established and fun team on our Birmingham Leisure contract. We are recruiting for Casual Swimming Instructors to work at Fox Hollies Leisure Centre between Monday to Sunday with possibilty of a regular contract.

The Fox Hollies site boasts a 25mtr pool, 120 station gym, free weights area plus workout studios, badminton, squash and football facilities and our committed staff are passionate about supporting our customers to achieve their fitness and lifestyle goals

Key Purpose of the role?

In the role of the Swimming Teacher You will be involved working with a range of age groups who vary from age 3 up until adults. Each session will contain swimmers of mixed ability from beginners to advance.

You will be responsible for the safety and skill advancement of the pupils within your care.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within the leisure environment with the ability to set and achieve high standards of cleanliness and personal presentation as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. You should also have a good awareness of Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Please note: We can only consider applicants who hold an ASA Level 1 / Level 2 or STA award or certificate. 

Also a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or Rescue Award (or be willing to undertake a course internally when employed).
